Have your say on our proposed School Streets trials

Funding is available to introduce measures that support physical distancing on the public roads at or near school entrances.

These measures create part time pedestrian and cycle zones by restricting access to vehicles. The only vehicles allowed to drive on the affected roads would be blue badge holders, school buses/coaches/taxis, exempt vehicles such as the emergency services and people who have been issued permits. We would give free permits to all residents/businesses on the affected roads.

We want to get your feedback on the four sites where we plan to undertake the initial trials of these measures before we consider using them elsewhere.

These four schools are:

Auchinleck Primary School and Early Childhood Centre

Catrine Primary School

Crosshouse Primary School and Early Childhood Centre

St Sophia’s Primary School (Galston)
